Now selling on **OLA** Onlineauction.com

I am currently selling on 2 auctions sites. The newest one is called OLA Onlineauction.com. A great new place that is fast approaching satellite speed for gaining new sellers and buyers alike. Many are coming from Ebay and elsewhere. It is only $8.00 a month to list as much as you want . $198.00 to become a Founding Member, and with this level of membership you really get the goodies. The newcomer package sent out to you is chock full of free stuff from video games to video recipes etc;, and much more. In addition, the entire amount can be used for upgrading your listings, and for featured auctions etc;. A great buy really.

I just joined March 5th 2008, and have already made many sales, and new friends. The community spirit is like none I have experienced before. I have over 10 years of experience in selling at online auctions, and I began on Ebay like most of us did back in 1998. Seems like a gazillion years ago. I have high hopes for this auction site, and hope to grow with them. The customer service is also awesome. That in itself is a Godsend. They have been known to call sellers on the phone just to encourage them. Ebay actually did this way back when. Not now thats for sure. We have stores, but only for Founding members. However, many new site changes are on board for the end of June and early July. A face lift if you will. New categories, search function upgrades, a new BIN feature currently called Penny Over Style Auctions. Lot's of things are on the agenda. So keep your eye on OLA. I would encourage anyone looking for a new auction site to call home, to check out OLA 1st before anyplace else. See you there! Where?? At *****OLA*****

Hurricane Katrina Charity Auctions Overstock Sellers

Overstock Sellers are banding together to offer Charity Auctions for Katrina Hurricane Victims. There is a link on the Overstock Auction Homepage just for this, or you may click on the links below to find other Toasa members web pages, and auctions. Some are donating 100% of the proceeds, and some are offering a percentage of the proceeds from their auctions. Each has chosen their own favorite charity. It is not associated with any organization, thus cutting out the middle man. I have chosen the Salvation Army as they are often the first ones to arrive on the scene to offer food, and shelter, and basic needs. Also, the money goes to each individual community rather then to a large bureaocracy where you never know where the money will end up. It is a small contribution, but it is something, and every little bit helps in such a time of need. Never have we faced such a huge catastrophe affecting such a large number of cities, towns, and states, almost the entire Gulf Coast.. Please help out by bidding on these auctions if you can. It will be much appreciated. I have put up some jewelry, and dolls. Please take a look. I hope and pray that these victims get the help they need, and in a way that shows them that Americans do truly care. Thank you!!

Gearing Up For the Coming Fall & Winter Selling Season UPDATED for June 1st 2008

Here is a picture of one of my favorite Sapphire Rings currently up for auction on OLA. See link to my home page below to view more of my jewelry items for sale as well as this item. This is gorgeous and all natural made from solid 14 K white Gold. The color of the Sapphire is a deep intense blue. Sapphire is the Birthstone for the month of September. I am spending my time gearing up for the coming fall and winter selling season. I usually spend more time in the summer stocking up, and clearing out old inventory, and any other changes that occur during the year. Usually after the kids go back to school, and vacations are over etc;, people start buying again. I have lots of nice natural jewelry that would make excellent Christmas gifts as well. No, its not to soon to start your shopping. Yikes, it gets here quicker each year. Hope all of you have a great selling season this year as well. Try other auction sites, and dont just feed the beast. Both OLA and Overstock are up and running and making many new changes. See my newest article re: OLA ( onlineauctions.com) They are really growing fast. New features are being added all the time. OLA has done very, very well and is adding new buyers and sellers everyday. Very exciting to be in on the ground floor. Check OLA and Overstock at the links below, and please visit some of my friends auctions and blogs as well. Just click on the links. Thats all folks!!

Picture Of My Favorite Shirley Temple Doll

This is one of my very favorite Shirley Temple Dolls. She is quite rare in the 25in size. A Composition Ideal Doll from the 1930s. I inherited most of my dolls from my mother. But, many I have since collected myself to carry on the tradition. When I was younger I didn't care for dolls, and neither did my 2 sisters. She was worried what would happen to her collection after she was gone. So, I do this partly to remember her, and to honor her. Now I love collecting them too.

Hello. I live in Nothern Calif in the Gold Country. How fitting as I sell jewelry, gold, silver, gemstones, and all sparklies. I sell at 3 auction venues, and belong to Toasa. I first began selling at online auctions on Ebay in 1998 after becoming disabled from a tic bite which caused me to contract Lymes Dx. Before that I worked as a registered nurse for 15 years. I loved my job, but now I am very happy selling at online auctions. It is a labor of love for me, and I guess you could say I am addicted. I love to help others out if I can, and to hear about your expereinces as well. I am married and have 6 children, and 14 grandchildren,. Yes, I have been busy. All are grown now, and it is just myself and my husband living out in the country on 12 acres. We have many animals goats, chickens, Emus, cats, and my darling five chihuahuas. I was breeding them for awhile, but am to busy with other things. I am also an avid doll collector and have over 500 antique to modern dolls in my collection. I love Shirley Temple dolls, and 1950s teen dolls. I also have MA Dolls of the World. I have one room n my house that is my doll room. Love to talk about dolls any day. As you can see I have many varied interests, but my current main interest is Toasa, and Overstock Auctions. It is a new venue, and I am excited to be a part of it. More to come later.
