Picnic Basket Weave Purse Molded Flower Top Green Lining & Trim Vintage 1970s offered by brightgemstreasures. This is really a neat find. In brand new condition, never used. Its from the 1970s. Featured is a wooden weaved picnic basket purse with a molded floral top in colors of green, yellow and orange. Its raised in some places, very unique design. Trimmed with a lime green or chartreuse color velvet trim ribbon around the top, inside is the same color for the lining but in a different material, kind of fuzzy with ribbon curled trim for the inner band., looks like ribbon candy. Its hinged with a mirror inside, and has a gold locking clasp. Gold feet at the bottom. The purse measures approx. 7" T X 9 1/2" W. Handle is 10" W X 4" T.This is just so cool. Near mint condition. Dates to the 1970s. Boho, hippie, fashion, woodland picnic purse.
