It has 2 back plates sandwiched together and a large floral repousse` decoration on top in high relief with cabbage roses and other flowers and vines. Its attached to the 1st back plate with the hardware covered by the 2nd plate. Highly decorative with pretty roses and etched leaves. very ornate stamped metal. Made with brightly polished silver plated metal. The design is intricately made. This is quite large and heavy. Excellent condition, no oxidation or green verdigris. A few surface scratches on the back plate. Simply awesome dates to the 1910s-20s the Art Nouveau period. Traditional, antique, metallic, heirloom, high end, brooch.
